CROSSFIBER IS THE KEY!

In the mid-1970s Victoria Ross became a forerunner in an untapped but desperately needed aspect of healthcare, the field of corrective muscle therapy. The key to her discovery was "cross-fiber" — working in short strokes across the muscle fibers, thereby triggering the body’s own self-healing responses. (To learn more about the history, see Institute History or Victoria Ross.)

Since then Crossfiber Corrective Muscle Therapy® (CCMT) has been collaborating with neurologists, orthopedists, chiropractors, etc., to provide the most comprehensive help to those suffering from neuromuscular conditions. The International Institute for Corrective Muscle Therapy (IICMT) offers training programs for individuals who want to make corrective muscle therapy their career or for those who want to learn simple troubleshooting techniques to combine with their chosen field of healthcare. (To learn more about this technique, see Crossfiber Technique.)

Our program is the result of 40 years of clinical experience in addressing the complex factors resulting in neuromuscular pain and dysfunction. Our instructors are approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB) as continuing education Approved Providers. (To schedule a class, see Teachers & Training.)
